"Breaking the Silence: Addressing Teenage Pregnancy"

FEB 15

Catholic Central School of Tabaco, Albay, Inc. conducted a simple talk titled "Breaking the Silence: Addressing Teenage Pregnancy" on February 15, 2025. This activity was organized by the Community Extension Services Program, with its coordinator Mrs. Laarni Panganiban, in connection with the Guidance and Testing Program, headed by Ms. Vernabeth N. Naval, Guidance and Testing In-Charge.

Mr. Elmer B. Bongon, the school principal, served as the resource speaker. He delivered an informative presentation and facilitated an interactive activity where participants actively collaborated and presented their outputs. The session guided teenagers and parents on responsible decision-making, the importance of open communication, and the role of values in addressing this social issue. The participants of this event included selected Grade 10 students, as well as selected teenagers and parents from the adopted community of Cormidal, Tabaco City.

May this activity raise awareness about the causes, consequences, and preventive measures of teenage pregnancy. May this event foster a deeper understanding of the challenges associated with teenage pregnancy and encourage proactive solutions within the community.
