Consumer Youth Congress
AUG 30
The Catholic Central School of Tabaco Inc. actively participated in the Consumer Youth Congress organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Albay Provincial Office on August 22, 2025, at the 4th Floor, LCC Hall, LCC Mall, Legazpi City. The school was represented by Jayani Rafer and Jan Niño Nasayao, both Junior High School students, accompanied by Sir Noni Carlo Cuesta, AP Teacher.
This event aimed to promote consumer awareness among the youth by empowering them with the knowledge and skills needed to make informed decisions and safeguard their rights in today’s marketplace. Through their participation, the student representatives were able to gain meaningful insights into consumer rights, responsibilities, and advocacy, which are vital for their growth as responsible and informed individuals.
The activity was successfully carried out and proved to be an enriching experience that not only enhanced the students’ understanding of consumer welfare but also reinforced the school’s commitment to supporting programs that strengthen youth empowerment and community development.
