Voter’s Education Talk

Our future, our hope; this is what the youth of our time is commonly defined as, and as the future, it is in their hands to choose their future leaders.

Last October 20, 2023, CCSTAI held it’s very first Voter’s Education talk that will serve as the student’s guide for the upcoming SK(Sangguniang Kabataan) Elections.

The talk was given by Princes Ann Ruste, a student of Bicol University taking up Bachelor of Culture and Arts Education, a Gawad BUeño Awardee and the President of BU Campus Ministry Organization.

She deliberately explained the what’s and how’s of an SK election. She gave emphasis on how the youth should vote based on their conscience and not on the influence of the people around them.

The SCB officers also facilitated the said talk.

Afterwards, a token of appreciation was presented to Ruste by our school principal, Sir Elmer Bongon.

The talk served as a reminder that our votes influence the future. It may not always directly influence our lives, but it can truly make an impact on other’s. Every vote counts, and as the youth, we must make them count.
