Last December 15, 2023, CCSTAI’s Share-a-Joy outreach program visited BJMP Tabaco District Jail to give goods such as rice, canned goods, and hygiene kits, to the PDLs that were given by the students and parents of CCSTAI.

The outreach program was spearheaded by the General Parent Teacher Council and the collection of the goods started a week prior which was then organized by the religious clubs and SCB officers.

CCSTAI was represented by the School Admin, GPTC, Student Coordinating Board, and the FMIJ Sisters.

Aside from the goods that were given to support the facility, we purchased 200 lanterns from them. The lanterns were lit up on Family Day last December 10, 2023 along with the Belen that was set up on the CCSTAI grounds.

December 15 2023 struck a chord in all of our hearts at CCSTAI. It reminds us of the joy of sharing on Christmas, especially to those who are in need. And through CCSTAI’s Share-a-Joy, we were able to remind the detainees that they are loved no matter where they may be.
