MATH-SCI CULMINATING ACTIVITY

From humanity's first discoveries in space, to new inventions here on Earth, science and math; two of the most influential branches of knowledge, have shaped our world into what it is today. As we continue to evolve, we give importance to these branches of knowledge and that is why, last November 29, 2023, CCSTAI celebrated SCI-MATH month 2023 with the theme; "Transforming the world for a better normal through Science and Mathematics".

The event started with a program hosted by the Sci-Tech club. And was then followed by the most anticipated 2vs100 quiz. A skill fair was on display at the canteen to showcase Centralian's and Gregorian's skills in Math and Science, the projects that were on display served as their Math and science PT for the 2nd quarter of the school year. A new crowd favorite also made its debut on the same day; the Wizard's Race, wherein the students were teamed up to solve problems and equations. The race was facilitated by the Math Wizards and Sci-Tech officers.

Game booths also graced the campus on the same day. The Student Coordinating Board collaborated with the SCI-MATH month's hosts to give the students a fun experience as prizes awaited them after the games.

Meanwhile, in the AVR, a film showing was held for those who wanted to sit back and watch a movie.

The day reminded us about Math and Science, not only as a subject in school, but as an instrument of evolution and improvement. When used right, they both have the power to transform our world for the better.
